Supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, the PD programme will run within Dutch Universities of Applied Sciences as an equivalent to the PhD. Its focus is on training investigative professionals , rather than professional researchers . The Arts + Creative PD has been developed by professors from 15 universities for arts and design in the Netherlands. Over the next 7 years, Codarts will hope to host 2 candidates. The awards — €10,000 for Gavin-Viano and €5000 for Ege Şahin — were presented by Renate Eringa, chair of Codart’s Executive Board, and Alice Fortes, board member of the Stichting Ondernemersbelangen Rotterdam (SOR), on 6 March. On Monday, February 13, the Erasmus Stipend 2022 was awarded to a promising student of Music Theater. There is a lot of diverse talent in this academic year. In the end, after extensive deliberation by the committee, it was unanimously decided to award the stipend to Iris Verhoek. The stipend is an annual scholarship awarded on behalf of Erasmus University Rotterdam to a Music Theater student of Codarts.
