At Codarts Pop, you’ll receive a four-year training to become an experienced pop professional. Intensive tuition from experienced lecturers will enable you to develop your own musical style. While exploring and experimenting, you discover your own identity - on stage or as a composer, producer or entrepreneur. 

During your study, you’re given every opportunity to gain stage experience within Codarts and beyond, playing in bands with co-students. And there are so many cross-over opportunities with classical music, world music, jazz, musical theatre, dance or circus. All music disciplines are combined in the Codarts Pop Orchestra. Numbers created by pop students are performed in both larger and smaller line-ups. You can also choose to perform for your exam at Pop op de Kaap for example; the pop festival with a raw edge. 

Codarts Pop is all about you finding your own artistic path and enabling you to increasingly shape your own study programme. There’s ample space to follow tuition at other institutes so you can structure your own programme to best match your development.
