Admission requirements Bassoon

Generally

  • Sufficient affinity with the instrument and its repertoire
  • Sufficient possibilities for development
  • Show of sufficient drive to study and enthusiasm for music and the instrument


Bassoon

  • Technique: all scales and chords in major and minor
  • Etudes: 1 etude from Weissenborn, etudes op. 8 no.2 (second half) or Concert Etudes by Milde op 26 part 1
  • Pieces: two performance pieces of the candidate’s own choice
