Health education

Health & performance programmes

It is essential that you take ownership of your own development and become self-reliant in this area; you are the one in control when it comes to your personal growth. All bachelor programmes at Codarts include a tailor-made health programme as part of the curriculum. These programmes are developed by Student Life, in close collaboration with each study programme, and of course with valuable input from students.

Successful and sustainable study path and career

The health programmes are grounded in scientific literature, evidence-based practice, and research conducted by the Arts & Wellbeing research group in the field of physical and mental health.

Topics covered include anatomy, body awareness, injury prevention, fitness, nutrition, and mental skills. These subjects are offered through both theoretical and practical classes. The lessons aim to promote awareness and self-regulation in monitoring and improving your own health. This enables you to better cope with the challenges you may face during your studies. The knowledge and skills you gain can support you in building a successful, healthy, and sustainable career. Most programmes make use of the Codarts-developed Student Life Monitor, which forms an integral part of the so-called Health & Performance Programmes.
