Under the direction of violinist and conductor Johannes Leertouwer, a specialist in 19th-century performance practice, the Codarts Symphony Orchestra performs two masterpieces from that era: Brahms’ Academic [...] Academic Festival Overture and Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony. During this project, the musicians will explore the historical performance style of the 19th century.
