Earthquake Turkey and Syria

Heavy earthquakes struck Turkey and Syria a week ago. The images are heartbreaking and the scale of the disaster is enormous. This disaster has affected Codarts students and staff very much. Some of them live in great uncertainty about family and friends in the affected areas. Our hearts go out to those affected.

While emergency teams are doing tremendous work in the region, many students and staff asking what they can do to help. The Netherlands Red Cross and other official aid organisations are calling for financial donations. That way, they can provide quick and effective short- and long-term help. There is also a need for resources for which various collection campaigns have been set up. Codarts supports the initiatives by:

A benefit evening organised by students and staff to raise money for people in the affected area.
