On Monday 25 August, the introduction week for the academic year 2025/2026 officially began. At the Codarts WMDC location, new students were welcomed with an opening speech by David Lauwen, president of the Executive Board. Afterwards, the student panel shared their experiences about their introduction week, their favorite spots in Rotterdam, and gave tips on how to maintain a healthy balance between studying and leisure.

Afterwards, students could visit the information fair for practical information on topics such as insurance and healthcare.

For the remainder of the week, the new students will work together on creating a performance, which will be presented on Thursday evening at Fenix to fellow students and staff. For this occasion, the circus location will be transformed into a small theatre.
