Admission requirements Master of Music Screen Scoring

To assess ​​your technical-compositional skills and your artistic approach to composing for the screen, the Screen Scoring Committee asks you to submit the following:

  • At least 2, at most 3 films*, film sequences or film scenes, with music which was written for various settings/ensembles, accompanied by the  related sound files (live recorded or midi versions) as Vimeo or YouTube links (downloads not accepted). Where possible please attach the related sheet music (as PDF). 

    *: or any other visual format.

  • A study plan, including your research topic (see the form in OSIRIS Application to be completed).
  • A motivation letter in PDF of a maximum of 2 A4 pages, in which you explain why you want to do the Master Screen Scoring at Codarts.

  •  A short biography (maximum 1 page A4) and CV (maximum 1 page A4).

     

    Please send the four assignments* as one link, via Google Drive. You can share the link via the form in OSIRIS Application.
    *) Don't forget to mention your name on all links, sheet music, your study plan, motivation letter, biography and CV.
