Terms and Conditions
Placement is based on availability per instrument group and on a first-come, first-served basis.
Lessons are held at Codarts locations. Classical Music lessons take place at Kruisplein (Kruisplein 26, Rotterdam). Lessons for Pop, Jazz, and Global Musics are held at WMDC (Pieter de Hoochweg 125, Rotterdam).
To ensure continuity, lessons take place weekly at a fixed day and time, to be arranged with the student teacher.
Lessons last 30 minutes. Please bear this in mind if you require significant travel time to reach Kruisplein or WMDC.
Lessons are held between October 2025 and May 2026. If you are allocated a place, the full course fee is payable and you are expected to attend all lessons.
Students who are not offered a place will not remain on a waiting list for the next academic year. You must register again each year to be considered.
If you are selected, a Codarts student will contact you between October 2025 and April 2026. If you do not receive any communication during this period, unfortunately no place is available for the 2025–2026 academic year.
No correspondence will be entered into regarding placement or the selection process.
If you take part in the student-led lessons, you are responsible for arranging your own instrument before the lessons begin.
