Our programme
We challenge you to immerse yourself in the rhythms that form the essence of Latin music. However, our classes go far beyond learning the technical aspect of rhythm patterns. We stimulate your creativity and help you develop your own voice and style in percussion and/or drums. Our comprehensive main subject will expand your musical horizons by encouraging you to study a variety of instruments, play and ‘sing’ various rhythms and perform with ensembles. As a student you will not only master the instrument, but also become a culturally aware musician who can fully convey the depth and meaning of Latin music.

Your main subject curriculum is tailored to your interests, so you can grow at your own pace and direct your own learning. Each lesson is a key component of a solid Latin percussion foundation that helps you build a broad repertoire and serves as direct support for ensemble classes. By integrating your individual percussion and/or drum skills into ensemble work, you acquire the skills to prepare yourself for a career in the music industry.

Thanks to our partnerships with Brazilian and Cuban educational institutions, you can take advantage of unique exchange opportunities to further enrich your musical journey abroad.
