Meet the emerging talent of tomorrow! The fourth-year students of the Bachelor programme Circus Arts present their group production under the direction of Nicanor de Elia.

Each academic year, the students of Codarts Circus Arts work with experienced creators from diverse backgrounds on a group creation. In this process, they are challenged and encouraged to work within a new approach and style.

Dogs Never Melt 

In Dogs Never Melt, we play with the idea of human evolution,
pushing it towards the figure of the superhero.
But what do superheroes truly mean to us?
How do we inhabit the idea of being super?
Super what?
With whom?
And how many of us, at once?
In this piece, the lone, wandering hero gives way to a collective hero—decidedly human.

Dogs Never Melt is a circus creation, performed as part of the graduation for the bachelor's programme in Circus Arts. The performers, fourth-year students, 
are our contemporary superheroes: they bring the impossible to life through collaboration, trust, and shared risk.
