Three questions for Jorge Sanz Pineda:

Why do you believe students should come to Codarts?

"Codarts is the perfect place to develop a competitive music profile. Nowadays, there are different scenarios with which the new percussionist has to manage and our team is very aware of them. We offer a high quality programme in which the student will cover all the main areas of percussion."

What are you going to teach them?

"Stick control techniques and rudiments for set up, drums and all types of skin percussion instruments; warm up exercises and strength training for sticks and hand drumming technique; general knowledge on World Percussion instruments as cajon, conga, djembe, bongo or timbales; possible lessons on multi-percussion pieces and snare drum pieces."

How are you going to teach them?

"In my classes, the students will have the opportunity to attend group sessions, both large and small, as well as individual lessons. The content will be broken down into building blocks including different exercises, patterns and rhythms. In addition, the classes will also have all the material written down and explained."
