To give students financial breathing space in this difficult corona time, the government is proposing to halve the statutory tuition fee rate for 2021-2022. If the House of Representatives approves this plan (it is expected that this will happen in mid-May), the situation will be as follows:
The statutory tuition fees for the academic year 2021-2022 are € 1,084. Bachelor’s students who start a study programme in Dutch higher education for the first time pay half of this amount: € 542. Second-year students who are following a teacher training programme (Dance in Education or Music in Education) also pay € 542. This halving of the statutory tuition fees only applies to the academic year 2021-2022.
International students (non-EEA students) pay the institutional tuition fee; this is determined by the institution itself. Codarts is lowering the previously set rates by € 1,084. The reduction is one-off and only applies to the 2021-2022 academic year.
As soon as the final rates are known, we will post them on the website.
