Admission Procedure

You have to do an audition if you want to study at Codarts. On this page you can find all the information about the admission procedure.

Non-EU students can participate in a digital pre-selection by sending a video to Codarts.
These students need to add a video link (URL to Youtube/MySpace/Soundcloud) to their application form in Studielink.
After examining this video, the candidate will either be denied or granted access to the regular entrance exam in Rotterdam.

For applicants for the bachelor Classical Music the video needs to meet the following requirements:
– The video withholds a minimum of two works from various style periods
– The length of the video is between 8 minutes (minimum) and 15 minutes (maximum)

Furthermore, applicants are responsible for:
– Availability during the audition dates which are mentioned on the website (
– Possibility to come to Rotterdam (all required travel documents taken into consideration)

The deadline for sending in the video URL is 13th of February 2017. Codarts will inform the applicant on the results of the pre-selection on the 1st of March the latest.
