Friends of codarts
The Friends Foundation feels that professional arts education in general and Codarts with all its talented students in particular deserve support.
In the whole world there is no institute where such a great diversity of stage arts are taught as Codarts Rotterdam. Codarts chooses for adventure and top quality. A broad range of studies in music, dance and circus theatre give content to this choice. Young people from all over the world come to Rotterdam to develop their talents there. Furthermore, all the study programmes are attuned to the demands of the international professional field.
The Friends Foundation feels that professional arts education in general and Codarts with all its talented students in particular deserve support. Not only moral support, but also financial assistance. The Friends of Codarts make projects possible which otherwise could not be realized. For example, masterclasses by renowned (inter)national musicians are organized with the contributions from the Friends. In addition, the Friends support competitions such as the Erasmus Jazz Prize.
Moreover, at the end of the academic year, scholarships are annually awarded to two excellent students who graduate from one of the Codarts study programmes. These scholarships are intended for study purposes.
Foundation Friends of Codarts has been designated as an ANBI for Dutch tax law, that is an institution with charitable status. Therefore donors can deduct gifts from their income or company tax (in accordance with the rules applicable).
