Artistic manager Bachelor of Dance in Education: Ingrid Stoepker
The demand for well-trained dance teachers who can relate to the continually changing metropolitan multicultural society is very high. The Bachelor of Dance in Education programme at Codarts prepares you for this perfectly in four years. The programme includes intensive collaboration with different cultural institutions in Rotterdam which reflect the multicultural metropolitan society in the city, with exponents such as ‘urban’ and ‘community arts’. Through internships and projects, you frequently come into contact with them. Please note: the language of instruction is Dutch.

If you have taken the Bachelor of Dance in Education programme at Codarts, you are a dance teacher with a broad set of competencies: as a teacher, dancer, dance maker, researcher and entrepreneur – the five pillars of the programme. You can create dance from and for any target group anywhere in the world. You are creative and communicative with word, sound, image and movement. You can develop, instruct, analyze, present and produce dance in a broad and diverse working field: in both amateur art and in a semi-professional setting, in education, in community arts projects, and in the ever self-renewing working fields. To conclude
