Prizes for RDA alumni

Two Rotterdam Dance Academy alumni have been awarded prizes at the fourteenth edition of the Internationales Solo-Tanz-Theater Festival in Stuttgart, that took place from March 11 until 14 2010.

Joaquin Sanchez received the first prize in the category Choreography for his piece Always look at the sea (which was performed by himself), Milou Nuyens the second prize in the category Dance (she performed Layers by Laszlo Attila Kocsis).

Joaquin graduated from Rotterdam Dance Academy in 2009, Milou in 2006 (in 2005 in Warsaw, she was the winner of the Eurovision Young Dancers Competition).

250 candidates from all over the world applied for the fourteenth edition of the Internationales Solo-Tanz-Theater Festival; eighteen of them were invited to come to Stuttgart.
