Admission process
The admissions process for higher vocational arts studies differs from the standard procedure in higher education. Before you can be admitted you must first take an admissions exam. This exam will assess whether you fulfil the requirements. Each specialization has its own audition process with appropriate selection criteria and additional requirements.
The content of the entrance exam is geared to the demands the specialized study and subsequent professional practice will make on the student. Auditions will be conducted by a committee composed of teachers.
The auditions are generally in the months May, June and July. To participate in the audition you need to pay audition fee.

General information
The statutory college fees for the 2010-2011 study year amount to € 1,672* (full-time courses). At this moment a bill is going through the first house of parliament (Eerste Kamer) that will possibly have implications in determining which students pay the statutory college fees and which students pay higher institutional college fees. If the First House passes the bill, Codarts will set the tariffs for the institutional college fees. Students from countries outside the EU/EEA pay € 7,950* for the school year 2010-2011; there are a limited number of International Talent Grants available for these students.
