Theory and solfège Argentinean tango
• reading skills in G- and F keys
• knowledge of note names, signatures, rhythms and bar signs
• knowledge of major and minor chords up to four signatures
• knowledge of chords of major and minor chords up to four signatures on I, II, IV and V
• recognize chords by ear according to major, minor or diminished
• perform cadences
• harmonic analysis of score fragment

Bandoneón Argentinean tango
• talent and affinity with Argentinean tango
• technical control over the instrument
• pulling the scales of C and G maj. over two octaves with the right and left hand together (in octaves):
• pulling the scales of C maj. where the right hand plays from c' to c''' and the left hand from C to g'; then the left hand plays the notes a, b and c', and back
• pulling the scales of G maj. where the right hand plays from g' to g''' and the left hand from G to g'
• pushing the scales of C and G maj. over two octaves, where right and left hand play separately in the same position as with pulling
• pushing and pulling the chromatic scales over two octaves, where the right hand plays from a to a'' and the left hand from A to a'.
• perform several performance pieces of choice from traditional repertoire of tangos, milongas, vals criollos and a more modern repertoire

Double bass Argentinean tango
• talent and affinity with Argentinean tango
• major and minor scales
• arpeggios based on three and four-note chords
• read simple themes and chord schemes
• perform etudes: choose from G. Simandl, New Method for String Bass, Vol.1 (New York 1968, International Music Company)
• perform some performance pieces of choice from traditional repertoire of tangos, milongas, vals criollos and a more modern repertoire
• accompany a few pieces by sight-reading

Guitar Argentinean tango
• talent for and affinity with Argentinean tango
• basic chords (first to ninth position)
• play etudes by e.g. Matteo Carcassi, Julio Sagreras, Fernando Sor or Leo Brouwer
• - perform several perfomance pieces of choice from traditional repertoire of tangos, milongas, vals criollos and a more modern repertoire

• perform two tangos or a tango and a milonga or vals criollo
