Thomas Pol in New Orleans

Bassist Thomas Pol is spending the third year of his RJA study in New Orleans. He is maintaining a blog about his experiences in the USA: http://thomaspol.waarbenjij.nu/. (in Dutch)

Thomas Pol (20) is one of the star students of the RJA. At a young age he could already be counted among the best students. There were many bandleaders who loved his infectious, groovy playing. He is a student of Marius Beets, Stefan Lievestro and Hein Van de Geyn.
Thomas is studying in New Orleans through an exchange programme. In his place, bassist Martin Masakowski has come to Rotterdam to spread his wings here for a year. Martin has already twice participated in the Codarts Jazz Summer School and knows his way around the Rotterdam scene.
